The Child Development Division (CDD) is revising the child care licensing regulations. They would like parents, providers and community members to help them create regulations that are clear, child centered and family friendly. There are several opportunities for you to participate in the process, including community forums and work groups. Community forums are open to many participants, while the work groups will be a defined group that will work over ten months. If you would like to be part of or facilitate a work group please fill out our survey or facilitator application at the weblink below by January 11, 2011. The Vermont Northern Lights Career Development Center works with many partners to unify and enhance the professional development system for early childhood and afterschool professionals in Vermont. It is funded by a grant from the Child Development Division of the Vermont Agency of Human Services.
